These courses are run in 4-week blocks every month, and are aimed at dancers who are experienced in social dancing, but seeking to challenge their habits and broaden their repertoire. You’ll need to be comfortable leading and following classic moves, and ideally have been dancing for at least a year. We’ll be exploring ways to add more musicality, variety and fun to your social dancing, and content can be tailored around students in order to get the most out of these sessions.

Express Your Swing
This session will include some instructional time and some practice time with a chance for personal feedback and to ask questions.
These sessions are aimed at higher level dancers, but will be tailored to the needs of the room. It will be a chance to collaborate on projects, choreography, performances, as well as a chance to focus on more sophisticated approaches to adding musicality, improvisation and expression to your dancing. Throughout these courses you will cover classic Lindy Hop, as well as some Solo Jazz.
As this venue is used for floor-based yoga and pilates, it important that we don’t wear shoes in the studio that have been worn outdoors. It’s also good practice to get in the habit of having dance specific shoes at this level.
